ORENA – HOW TO GET PLAYING!

Before contacting us, please take a look at answers to some Frequently Asked Questions

ANSWER

1. To register an ORENA account, head over to our Sign Up page.

2. Enter your email address.

3. Once you have entered your email address, a "confirmation email" notice will appear.

> Head to the email inbox you utilised to confirm your email address.
> If you are struggling to find the mail in your standard inbox, make sure to check your "spam" or "promotional" folders, especially when using webmails such as "gmail".

4. Once you have confirmed your mail, head back to https://www.orena.com/home.php. Make sure you are logged in and then finish setting up your profile.

Upon successful activation of your account, you will be taken to your official user “Dashboard”, find your dashboard HERE. Here you can update and manage the following details:

  1. Personal details such as your Name, Contact Details, Location, Learning Institution (School / University), Password and more.
  2. Game Details such as your Steam, Blizzard and PSN ID’s depending on what games you want to play, as well as game-specific names such as in PUBG.
  3. Add your Social Media profiles.
  4. Edit your Avatar & Banner.
  5. Select your "favorite" games.
  6. Create and manage your Teams and Invites.

Make sure to fill in all necessary information to compete in all your chosen games tournaments.

Once you have gone through the Profile Management process, you can now create your own SOLO team for 1v1 or "Battle Royale" events.

  1. Use the "Create a Team" button page to fill your necessary information HERE. The "Create a Team" button can be found on the ORENA website once you have "logged in" with your account.
  2. Once you are on the "Create a Team" page, select your team "Type" via the drop-down menu, for this guide, select "1v1 - all games".
  3. Now choose your "Team Name" for your SOLO team. Our recommendation is to use your "Gaming Nickname / Alias".
  4. Now choose your team's "Abbreviation". This will be the "short" version of your name used on various ORENA displays.
  5. Now press the "Create Team" button. (Note you will be marked as the "Team Admin".)

NB* Anytime you are doing anything related to a tournament, always make sure you have the specific team selected in the drop-down. Otherwise, it will appear that you are not able to see certain info.

  1. Use the "Create a Team" button page to fill your necessary information HERE. The "Create a Team" button can be found on the ORENA website once you have "logged in" with your account.
  2. Once you are on the "Create a Team" page, select your team "Type" via the drop-down menu. For the purpose of this guide, select "Team - game specific".
  3. Now choose your "Team Name" for your TEAM.
  4. Now choose your team's "Abbreviation". This will be the "short" version of your "Team Name" used on various ORENA displays.
  5. Now create a "Join Password". This is what players can use to join your team if the "Team Admin" is not available to INVITE players.
  6. Now choose the "Game" your team will be competing in.
  7. Enter your team's "Website" if you wish to have it promoted in your profiles.
  8. Now press the "Create Team" button. (Note you will be marked as the "Team Admin".)

NB* Anytime you are doing anything related to a tournament, always make sure you have the specific team selected in the drop-down. Otherwise, it will appear that you are not able to see certain info.

Once you have created your (1v1vAll) team or your full "TEAM" via the create a team process, then it is time to Register for a TOURNAMENT/EVENT!

  1. Head on over to our list of GAMES via the ORENA "PLAY" page found HERE.
  2. Select the GAME you wish to compete in.
  3. Now select the TOURNAMENT / EVENT you wish to compete in.
  4. If you are "Logged In" with your official ORENA account, and have the correct "TEAM" selected, you should see a "Register" button amongst the tournament information.
  5. For "TEAM" events, make sure the necessary amount of players have registered to the "TEAM" and all players have necessary "GAME" info setup in their personal profiles.

ANSWER

Once you have registered for an EVENT / TOURNAMENT / LADDER, you need to create an official "ROSTER" for your statistics to be displayed.

  1. Head to your team settings via this link: https://www.orena.com/settings-guild.php
  2. Once you are on the "Team Settings" page, select either "Tournaments, Events or Ladders" depending on the event you are taking part in.
  3. Once you are on the correct tab (we will use "ladders for this example) highlight the event and click on the little "Blue +Man" icon to create a "Roster".
  4. Now you may utilize the "drop down" menu to "Add Members" to your roster.
  5. Once you have added the necessary members, your roster is complete!
